Why Do I Feel Like Burping After Taking Food As I Have Tried All Types Of Indigestion Medications?
I often feel the need to burp but nothing comes out. it feels very unconfortable and cannot get relief until i burp. this happens mostly after breakfast and even without food as I wake up and start moving around the house. I tried all sorts of indingestion remedies like gaviscon etc. but nothing helps. can you point me in the right direction

Have you ever undergone any investigations for this problem.
In patients who do not have any improvement after trail of anti acid drugs like proton pump inhibitors like Omeprazole, i used to refer for following investigations
1. H.Pylori test like urea breath test and H.Pylori antigen test
2. Upper GI endoscopy
Because some people may have H.Pylori infection. Antibiotics with Proton pump inhibitors will be helpful in these patients.
Upper GI endoscopy will detect any ulcer or erosion as well as any bleeding spots in Esophagus, stomach etc.
Please do these investigations and consult with your Primary care physician.
