Why Do I Feel Pressure In My Nostril And My Eyes Teary?

hello, just recently ive been having pressure in my left nostril and also my left eye keeps tearing up, i dont feel sick but when i feel my tear duct there is a dull pain? what do u think is the problem? oh and it also happens when im outside when it is cold out.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of pressure in nostrils and watery eyes which seems to be due to sinus infection leading to sinusitis. Need not to worry. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after thorough examination. You should get paranasal sinus X-ray done. You should do nasal saline rinses. Take proper course of antibiotics such as Ciprofloxacin along with antiinflammatory medication such as Levocetrizine. You should maintain complete oral hygiene. You should avoid touching your hands with eyes as it will spread infection. Do warm saline gargles.
