Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hi, lately i've been very tired and i get lightheaded often. 4 months ago i was hospitalized because i had severe abdominal pain and ended up vomiting a lot and fainting. they diagnosed me with just constipation but i believe it is something more. since this episode, i have not felt right
Feeling tired and lightheaded is indicative that you : - might not taking the right daily nutrients - have electrolyte imbalances - have any infection
I suggest to run further tests to evaluate your situation: - complete blood profile - electrolyte levels - fasting blood sugar - lipid profile - liver/kidney function tests - abdominal ultrasound
If constipation is diagnosed, should take proper measures to overcome it: - drink plenty of water - take oral otc laxatives, lactulose, probiotics - eat foods high in fiber - take otc fiber supplements (psyllium) - have your bowel movement when you feel to, do not delay
Hope it was of help! Dr.Sejdini
