Why Do I Get Cramping, Profuse Sweating And Faint After Sex ?
Sometimes when I have sex I start to feel cramping and smothered. Immediately after I go to the bathroom and usually faint, dropping to the floor while my body begin to sweat profusley. I have to administer a cold washcloth to my forehead or back of neck . Is this because of low blood pressure in the morning? It has only happened in the morning and typically I have to have a bowel movement to ease some of the cramping.
Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
I do not think that the cramping pain in the abdomen and sexual intercourse are related. I think the cramping pain in the abdomen can be related to irritable bowel syndrome or some kind of infection which needs to be evaluated independently.
Sometimes, severe pain can evoke a response where the blood vessels dilated and the blood pressure falls. This could be contributing to the pain you are experiencing.
Please see a physician for an evaluation of the cramping and then we can start with appropriate treatment.
Till then, I would suggest you restrict gluten and keep a food diary to identify what is causing severe symptoms. This should relieve the cramping pain in the abdomen.
Hope this helps.
