Why Do I Have A Lump At The Operation Site After Perianal Abscess Draining?
Perianal abscess, drained by doctor (with q-tip, no anesthesia) ...about 3 days ago. It's draining less every day, definitely not feeling any pain, but there is still a hard lump there. Any ideas? Doctor had not recommended a follow up appointment since the op.

I really appreciate your concern if this was the perianal abscess then this need to be drained with incision opening of pocket was necessary simply draining without this procedure may take little long time with chances of abscess again the lump could be lymph node(Abscessed) that need to be removed hope this information helps you, have nice day.
