Why Do I Have A Sensation Of Pins And Needles On My Body After Being Exposed To Cold?
Hi, I cough so hard when I am exposed to cold weather that I had to pull off the road. I could NOT catch my breath, and had the sensation of an explosion of pins and needles from my feet to my chest and neck... If I could have found my phone I would have called 911. It subsided, so I drove home.
As you have been exposed to cold weather, your body nerves have been temporary damaged. That's why you are having a sensation of pins and needles on your body.
It will take some time until the function of your body nerves will be back to normal. Keep warm and have warm tea and more fluids.
Take care!
