Why Do I Have A Strange Pressure Headache On My Right Side?
Hi, I'm a 20 year old female and I'm wondering if my seemingly random symptoms can be connected to my impacted wisdom tooth. I've had a strange pressure headache on my right side (also where the tooth is) and a developing earache that comes and goes. The pain also comes and goes, and seems to be at the same time when I feel pressure in my jaw. Also, just last night, my right leg started to tingle and have a "pins and needles" feeling when I sat down. Upon doing research I saw that it might be sciatica. Could this all be related to my tooth? Thank you
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.
Reading at your description some of the symptoms may be related to the tooth but not all of them. Tooth issues can lead to pain irradiating on that side of the head and to jaw pressure sensation, so it can explain them. On the other hand it bears no relation to sciatica which is a spinal issue or of the peripheral nerve, no relation to the tooth at all. I do not think the tooth to be the cause of those pins and needles. You should have a neurological consult on that regard to check for other possible neurological signs to indicate sciatica or other neurological conditions
I hope to have been of help.
