Why Do I Have Cracks And Flakiness On The Foreskin Of Penis?
Hi, I have a really tight wrap of foreskin when erected with the head exposed causing cracks and white flakes on the shaft surrounding the head. I had rubbed and peeled them before only to make it worse, they seem to get drier. What is the worst diagnosis that it could be?
Hello Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have cracks in foreskin and retraction of foreskin over glans is painful with deposit of smegma around glans penis and coronal sulcus.
This is most likely to be due to Partial phimosis,However final diagnosis can be confirmed only on clinical examination by a qualified General Surgeon or Urologist. If necessary you may need to get circumcised
The white depots that you have beneath the foreskin is dried secretions of mucosal glands located in glans penis.
You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefexine along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.along with topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin twice daily.
Ensure to retract foreskin while taking bath and wash your genitals with warm water twice daily
Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely. Dr.Patil.
