Why Do I Have Pimples After Undergoing Rhinoplasty Surgery While Taking Ciprobay?
Hi I undergo a rhinoplasty surgery last year in may, the recovery was smooth and all until last year dec one fine day after picking my nose i noticed a red pimple with pus that was inside. Due to my poor hygiene management, the other side of my nose grew two similar pimples. I had 2 different courses of antibiotics treatment but it manage to contain it and became really small but not cure it. I did not know the severity of this until recently and it may imply that the infection had spread to my implant. I am currently on ciprobay for 15 days and this is the second day so far I am seeing drastic recovery. I schedule for an apt with an ENT specialist, wonder what are the chances that my implant is infected? There is no sign of redness, swelling or pain. Do advise thanks
I think you just have a skin infection rather than infection of Implant and it should get better with a slightly longer course of oral antibiotics.
