Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
im having problems with hearing my pulse/heartbeat in my left ear and are accompanied by mild headaches that come and go. the headache is mostly affecting the left temple/eye area and seem to be worse when i move my head or bend over. its making me a bit nervous. should i seek medical attention?
I would recommend consulting with the ENT specialist for a careful physical exam.
If the sound of your heart is objective (which means that the doctor can hear it with a stethoscope behind your ear), a brain MRI should be done to exclude possible intracranial vessel malformation.
Hope to have been helpful!
Best wishes,
Dr. Iliri

Why Do I Hear My Heartbeat In The Left Ear?
Hello! Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM! Your symptoms may be suggestive for an inner ear infection or an intracranial vascular disorder (malformation). I would recommend consulting with the ENT specialist for a careful physical exam. If the sound of your heart is objective (which means that the doctor can hear it with a stethoscope behind your ear), a brain MRI should be done to exclude possible intracranial vessel malformation. Hope to have been helpful! Best wishes, Dr. Iliri
