Why Do Doctors Discourage Heart Catheters?

Hello, My name is Billy. I m a 56 yr. old white male. I ve had 19 stents and 2 open heart 3 way bypasses. My last angiogram was 2013 and all bypassed were open. I ve been to the ER with chest pain 4 times since and each time they discouraged Caths, but this past Thursday I was Air lifted and they finally perfored the Cath to find a 100% blockage in the RCA. They decided to leave it alone because of Collateral blood flow and stated they will not perform another Cath unless enzymes come back for Damage..do I have to just wait for another heart attack and are Caths being discouraged ?
