I'm 32 years old, at my eye exam last May the optometrist noticed retinal thinning and asked if I saw floaters. At that time. I did not, but have begun to see them. I made an appt. for this week, but I know. I will obsess about it until then. Should I be worried?
Optometrist can not predict retinal thinning. get your eye checked by eye doctor. floaters are degenerative body in vitreous. if floaters are present, then retina is to be examined to exclude ,holes, tear, detachment. if nothing is present then no worry. you have to adjust to live with floaters.
