My husband age 56 had double hernia surgery fri 9/7. Initially doing well then Saturday afternoon experienced terrible pain, passed out. Abdominal pain is okay but he haS terrible pain in lower back barely able to stand up on his own. What might be going on?
Hi, If he had been given spinal anesthesia then it is a cause for worry. If associated with headache and vomiting it is a case of post spinal headache. If locally painful then it is a traumatic procedure. Complete bed rest , plenty of water and analgesics is warranted. If poor response then consult your surgeon. Regards
