hello, i had reconstructive surgery on my right eardrum. ever since the surgery my eardrums have ruptured yearly. I'm in terrible pain as they have ruptured again. I have an extensive history of ear problems starting back at age 5. I've had about 10 surgeries.
There can be many reasons for the repeated rupture including a mastoid reservoir of infection or an eustachian tube dysfunction. please meet your ent doctor for discussing this, he will examine you and guide you further.
Thanks
