Why Does Nose Still Fell Heavy After Bleeding? Had Cold
I am 33 yrs. old with no medical problem, last week had cough n cold , 3 days back my nose was bleeding so i went the doctor he said its normal. I have taken complete course, however nose is still heavy, when i blew it hard today i could see brown mucus (may be the blood clot, dried up) anything serious, to be concerned of.
I don't feel finding brown mucus at this stage is anything to be worried about. It must have been the collected , dried blood which was there when you were having your cough and cold.
I would suggest you do steam inhalation 3 - 4 times a day. Please don't blow your nose too hard, as it might hurt the ears.
If you have fresh red blood coming out from your nostrils, I would advise you to visit your doctor.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
