Why Does One Get Hot & Cold Flashes Post An Angioplasty?

My mother is 81 years old and she had angioplasty with two stends installed a month ago. But she s had hot and cold flashes since the operation every few days. Sometimes it happens several waves a day. But the doctors said they didn t see inditations of problems with her heart from ECG. After the many episodes of flashes, she feels fine. Since it s been continuing for some time, she feels frustrated. It it normal after the angioplasty? Thanks much.

HI
Well come to HCM
The symptoms that your mother had was not related with angioplasty if this was the case then it would have been detected in the EKG but as you stated here that EKG was unremarkable so this is nothing to worry this could have been nonspecific symptoms and such symptoms is not likely after the angioplasty , hope this helps.
