General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Presence of only gestational sac with no fetal pole and no heart beat with 10 weeks of amenorrhea indicates that the pregnancy has not taken up following fertilization. Hence, the gestational age is indicative of only 5 weeks. I am so sorry for your loss -- it looks like as a blighted ovum miscarriage.

Kindly consult obstetrician with the ultrasound report for evaluation and further course of management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S
