Why Had A Eustachian Tube Dysfunction After Surgery To Fix Deviated Septum?
I had surgery to fix my Deviated Septum problem back this past September. Two days after having the surgery I developed Eustachian Tube Dysfunction, which both ears feel stopped up all of the time. Why would I have problems with my ears after surgery. I have never had ear problems in my entire life.
Hi , after septoplasty, post op congestion can cause ET dysfunction. If I were your treating doctor, I woukd have prescribed decongestant tablets and nasal droos. Asked to do valsalva exercise daily, would have got audio logical ET function test done to detect any other problems.
