Why Having Sharp Pain In Forehead While Suffering From Viral Flu And Sore Throat? Taking Tylenol, Mucinex And Pain Pill
I am a healthy 19 year old who has the flu...now going on day 5. Been to the doctor and it is considered a viral flu. Throat is very sore...not strep....been tested. I am drinking lots of fluids, taking tylenol, mucinex, and a pain pill (prescribed by my dr). I think my fever broke last night. I continue to experience periodic strong, sharp pain across my forehead. Any thoughts on what is causing the pain?
hello. the sharp pain may be because of a sinusitis which may have developed because of the flu.You need not be worried as it is pretty common to develop a sinus infection during flu. i would recommend you continue taking your pills and would suggest that you take plain steam inhalation atleast 3 times a day , it will help!! hope you get well soon!! thanks
