Why Is Digoxin Prescribed For A Resting Heart Rate Of 100?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here.. My resting heart rate is 100. My PCP wasn't happy with what it was earlier today & put me on Digoxin, can you please explain why the concern? And I don't know what he found it at earlier.

We usually prescribe digoxin to patients with heart failure or patients that have tachycardia with atrial fibrillation. But I advise that you reach out to him, so you can hear his view. Warm regards
