Why Is HCG Injection Recommended For This Test Result From Follicular Study?
Hi, I have been trying to conceive from couple of years now. Undergoing treatment for PCOS. This month started my follicular study. today is the 10th day, left ovary no dominant follicle, right ovary has 2 follicles 1)17X15 and 2)13X13 EE 7.4mm. Doctor has advised me today to get an HCG injection of 5000IU. My question is why is HCG injection given?

I really appreciate your concern, when it is ovulation phase and still no follicles finds then some hormone therapy can be tired to facilitate the ovulation, and it is nothing to loose trying this, hope this information may helps, take care and have a nice day.
