Why Is A 9 Month Baby Having Stroke Even After Medication And Normal EEG?

Sir, my baby is now 9 months old, his first storke at 7 months,while doing eeg ,result is normal,but doctor prescribed epilex 2ml once in a day....after taking medicine he suffered again storke,so doctor increased the dosage to 3.5ml twice in a day....2 times done EEG,REPORT IS NORMAL.....PLS ADVICE

Hello, The EEG test is a test to read the activity of the brain. It is performed for a finite period of time and if there is no seizure activity during that time, then the EEG may be read as normal. I would suggest asking your physician to review this information with you. In particular, asking about dietary changes and new medications available for your child's form of illness may provide better control of the seizures.
