Why Is Blood Sugar Level Not Dropping Inspite Of Taking Insulin?

my mom age 61 yrs is having fasting blood sugar 380. she is under medication and for now given insulin.Even a diet was prescribed for a week but there is no drop in blood sugar level.

Dear sir i can understand your concern.
i am very sorry about the condition of your mom.
usually insulin will be started in a low dose first and slowly up titrated as per the requirements of patients.
i suggest to speak with treating doctor regarding sugar levels
you can also write back to us with a detail history of patient ,lab reports,total medication history,height and weight.
