Why Is My Friend Sleeping A Lot?

Hello sir my friend facing this problem from long back. Her ecg report is normal but she facing over sleep and some times head reeling especially when she is sad she is zeprol cr and encoverrate chron a at every night? what disease it is and what is the treatment?

I appreciate your concern for your friend. From the limited information that you have provided, it is difficult to come to a definitive conclusion about your friend's diagnosis.

Zeptol (Carbamazepine) and Encorate Chrono (Valproate) are mood stabilizers and are generally used in the treatment of Bipolar disorder. These medication can have a side effect of causing sedation which could a reason why she is sleeping excessively. If this is causing her a lot of problem, I would suggest that you take her to her psychiatrist for a review, so that this problem can be looked into and managed.
