Hello,
Slight spotting during pregnancy can occur especially in first trimester. During pregnancy the cervix becomes more sensitive and engorged with blood. Any trauma even slight like in intercourse or during pelvic examination or transvaginal examination can cause bleeding after intercourse.
But if the spotting is accompanied by any abdominal cramps, heavy bleeding or passing of tissues, then miscarriage needs to be ruled out urgently.
Hope it helps you. Regards.
