Why Is The Bloating, Pressure In Lower Abdomen And Spotting During Periods?

I have a tight feeling in my uterus that is lasting all day. I feel bloated, and pressure on my lower abdomen is uncomfortable so I can t button my pants. Sometimes I have a taste of blood in my mouth and I m getting heartburn late at night. I had a myectomy (spelling probably wrong) in October, had a depo shot in November to stop bleeding but continued to have a period in December. Now I have spotted on the 7,9,10,18, and than today. Should I be worried or do I need to go see my obgyn??

Hello madam, from the history you have given, well bloating sensation is quite common during premenustral and menustral period.Abdominal discomfort or cramps during menustral period is due to release of the hormones prostaglandins.Depo does cause certain side effects like break through bleeding, breast tenderness. But as the symptoms are worsening and also since the bleeding is excess I would suggest you to consult your gynaecologist and also would suggest you to have a check on haemoglobin level, as excess bleeding can further detoriate your health.hope I was helpful to you.
