Why Is The Ear Propping And A Loud Screeching Noise Whenever I Blow The Nose?
I currently have a cold and have been struggling to hear through my left ear for around a week. When I blow my nose it pops but then the hearing gets gradually worse again. This morning, when I blew my nose my ear popped and then I heard a loud screeching noise (like a bad elephant impression is the only way I can describe it!). As soon as I stopped blowing my noise, the noise went. I blew my nose again earlier and the same happened, but my ear did not pop first. My hearing seems to have returned but the side of my face and my ear feel warmer than the rest of my face and now I'm scared to blow my nose again. What could this be?
