Why Is There A Terrible Pain While Sitting Or Standing In The Penis Having An Indwelling Catheter Or About Three Weeks?

I ve had an indwelling catheter in for about 3 weeks. The catheter is completely painless but the catheter tube goes up inside my penis there is an ongoing, terrible pain when ever I sit down or stand up I ve found that if I skin my foreskin back from the head of my penis the pain is considerably less.

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have
indwelling catheter and getting severe pain in penis.

This is mostly due to spasm of the bladder and your foreskin (which is very sensitive) has been infected due to friction of the catheter.

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefexine along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.

Ensure to clean the catheter and your genitals with warm water twice daily.

Ensure to drink more water.To keep your urine dilute
