Why Is There Is Pain In Stomach And Hurting When Coughing And Sneezing Where The Plates Have Been Inserted?
My boyfriend recently got surgery about a little over a month ago because he got shot near his ribs the hospital cut him open where his belly button is to take out the bullet but it was to deep in so they couldn't so instead they stapled him back up a week after that he went back to get the staples out and they put metal plates inside, he occasionally has stomach pain where the plates are and it hurts to cough an sneez he's to stubborn to go get it checked out so I'm wondering why it hurts him so much

i think he should definitely meet the surgeon again
it is possible that the plates are hurting some tissue
seeing as u saiid that he is stubborn
get a usg abdomen
ideal would be mri- but cant be done due to plates and bullet
i think u need to coax him further
