Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i did a urine sample for my doctor and leukocytes were found in it so she asked me to do another one. again, the same was found. she is now asking me to do an STI test, even though i have explained it is highly unlikely I have an STI as i was recently tested and all the tests came back negative and I have only had one sexual partner since then. Why is she asking me to do this? is it just to rule it out? or could it be more serious?
You are having uti. Number of blood cell pus cell epithiliacell should have been seen. Could not follow sti . i think you mean std. It is not required. you can go for culture and sensitivity test. Drink more water. Hygiene is to be maintained. Can take alkalies syrup.
