In lengthy flights, due to immobility recurring pain,
numbness or swelling in the legs are indicative of a circulatory problem, clotting disorders,
varicose veins, family history of obesity.
You are suggested to do simple stretch exercises. Foot & knee lifts, ankle flexes & rotations.
While in long flights take seats with extra leg room so that you can be more comfortable. Wear light fitting clothes while on a flight.
Avoid caffeine and alcohol or addictions if any. You are suggested to visit ER & get physically examined, your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected.
