Why Should I Take Proluton And Corion Injections In Early Pregnancy?
I am 7 weeks pregnant, I already had a miscarriage 2 months ago and now in my second pregnancy my doctor has suggested two injections i.e., Corion 5000 and Proluton Depot 500 (both twice a week) and medicens Duphaston 10mg, folwise plus and glycyphage 250mg. Is it the right medication? please suggest.
Hello, If the earlier abortion happened due to hormone imbalance and if your doctor suspects the same thing to happen in this pregnancy also, then, this is the right treatment. Also, if you have PCOD and conceived with treatment, addition of Metformin becomes necessary to maintain proper insulin levels, if you have insulin resistance. Please take adequate bed rest, avoid all strenuous activity including sexual intercourse, follow your doctor's instructions and eat healthy. Wish you good health.
