Why The Doctor Advised For An Angiogram?

My father has a mild attack 1 week back and after that he is all normal and fresh. No sign of any fatigue. Today only during a normal health check up we found this and the doctor is advising for an angiogram. Does this means he is now more prone to heart attack. He is 60.

Hi,
Heart attack is due to obstruction to flow of blood on the coronary arteries. In a mild heart attack, a small vessel in coronary artery might have got obstructed.
As he already had an myocardial infarction, he needs to be evaluated closely to rule out any further major heart attacks.
Angiogram is a procedure of injecting a dye onto coronary artery to check for any partial or complete obstruction and if required, plan a future stent surgery.
As a person ages, the risk increases. With a history already, major heart attacks can be averted. He needs to get the angiogram done.
