Why The Fever Is Not Subsiding Even After Taking Medicine?

hi,

my daughter 3.5 yrs is having fever for the last 6 days. Her ferver started at 102 moved now to 99 . we are using crocin for her along with othermedications like budesol, clamp kid, etc.

We are giving her dosage of 8ml crocin for every 12 hours

Any reason why this fever is not subsiding?

Crocin is given in a dose of 15 mg/kg body weight every 4-6 hourly depending on the requirement.
In addition tepid sponging will give prompt relief.
