Resting pulse is the baseline against which rate of increase on activities measure, somany sites you can see arterial pulse like carotid in neck, brachial in elbow, axillary in axilla, dorsalis pedis and posterior tibial in foot, femoral in groin and many more. pulse is felt only in artery as veins are non pulstle. breath holding and breathing tobag increase CO2 level in blood and changes intrathorasic pressure so pulse will increase.
