Will Glycomet Affect Menstrual Cycle Or Conception?
Hello , i have been diagnosed with pcos about a year back , and the doctor has put me on glycomet sr 500 for the last one year i hav been taking the medication regularly when this month i hav reduced the intake drastically , im 2 weeks late from my expected date , tried a hpk and it turned on to be negative for the past 6 months i hav got regular cycles is it because of reducing the intake of glycomet i hav late periods ? Will glycomet affect my periods or conception

Glycomet will actually treat your PCOS to an extend and even help in bringing back your cycles to regular and possibly aid in conception. So unless you cannot tolerate this medicine, I suggest you should continue it unless your doctor says otherwise. Metformin is an effective treatment for PCOS. Take care.
