Will HIV PCR Testing Help In Accurate Diagnosis?
HI Dr,
It seems a lot of STD test labs on the internet.Actually I am looking for the HIV PCR testing method. But I fear i might pick the wrong one(fake/fraud lab that doesnt exist). Do you know or can give any advice for this matter. I know it would wait for 3 months to get antibody test but it's has been approved that this kind of PCR test is accurate and reliable for early hiv diagnosis..

Thank you for your question on HCM. Yes you are right for early diagnosis of HIV infection you need to check for p 24 antigen and not for antibodies. P 24 is checked by PCR technique and it is very accurate and highly specific.get it done from accredited laboratories only.
