1. ADR [adverse drug reaction] of hydrocholorothiazide is impotence, so it is better to consult with your health physician regarding the same.
2. depo contains 4 different testosterone compounds while axiron contains only testosterone, while depo is administered through buttocks [I/M; intramuscularly] axiron is given through axilla, [ axiron is a solution of testosterone that comes in a metered-dose pump with applicator. This is a gel applied to the underarm [axilla] and it is quite expensive]

PS. The option of intramuscular injections is a good one, though it requires office visits. An advantage of the shots for men is the freedom from daily administration of a gel or patch, while the disadvantages are the need for a shot of an oily solution every one to three weeks. choice is yours

3. since P.C.O.S. is there and not P.C.O.D. [S means syndrome and D means disease] thus because of presence of syndrome it is wise to consult a Gynecologist and thereafter an Endocrinologist for any hormonal cause of weight gain other than impaired blood sugar [for which metformin is in question]
