Will I Need Surgery For A Prominent Disc Protrusion?

I have had 2 back surgeries - a laminectomy on L5-S1 in 1996 and 2 years ago I had a disc replacement and fusion at L5,S1. I just had an MRI done due to numbness in my arms, neck pain and headaches and my MRI showed a prominent disc protrusion at C5-6 and protrusion a@ C6-7 but not as bad - but also significant degenerative disc disease and arthropathy. I see a chiropractor regularly and no relief - will I need surgery?
