Will Losartan Potassium And Metoprolol Succinate Elevate Blood Sugar?
I am taking Losartan Potassium 100mg. and Metoprolol Succer 25 mg. Could these meds be elevating my blood sugars. I m exercising 3 x weekly, watching my carbs, and sugars, and my fasting blood sugars coming out at 186 or 177. Before taking these meds, had my blood sugars under control, with my diet, exercise, Doesn t make sense to me. Whats your answer to these meds of maybe elevating the sugar? Thank you!

I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I could say that your high level of blood glucose and Losartan and Metoprolo is just a coincidence and nothing to take any thing with each other, in my opinion the possibility of diabetes need to be ruled out, take a good care and have a nice day.
