Hi,

The present abnormalities in her behavior are most likely due to delirium, which is very common in the presence of severe physical illness as in her case. It will improve when her physical health improves and does not necessarily indicate irreversible brain damage. Please do not worry. She will probably make a full recovery if her liver condition continues to improve.

Best wishes.
