Will YAZ Pill Give Me Protection For 7 Days?

Hi Dr Lundi, just curious as I started YAZ 7 days ago and in the indication booklet of YAZ it says that I will be protected 7 days after taking the pill. Would just like to confirm with you if this indication is accurate and correct in your expertise? Would I still need protection after 7 days? I started the pill on the first day of my cycle but this period was MUCH lighter than past periods.

Your advice will truly be appreciated.
