Will A Right-sided Toothache Get Cured By Applying Toothpaste On The Affected Area?
I have a toothache that is causing pain to me when I sleep it is affecting my movement of my right arm which is what side the toothache is at. I don't want to go to the dentist as I feel like it's nothing too serious which is why I am asking for your help instead. My question is would I be able to apply toothpaste directly on the affected area for it to completely go away
As per your complain pain in tooth is commonly seen to occur due to causes like deep decay in tooth or fracture of tooth caused due to sudden trauma, biting on something very hard etc.. It causes irritation of the nerve fibres present in the centre of the tooth and leads to inflammation and pain..
Applying toothpaste simply will not resolve the problem and you need to get the tooth properly treated for permanent relief..
I would therefore suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evalution and investigations like x ray can help in ruling out the exact cause of pain..
In case if tooth is in a condition to be saved then root canal treatment can be done.. In case of gross damage/decay to the tooth extraction is advisable..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
