Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son who is now 10 is up to date with all immunications. On Sunday he fell backwards into a barb wire fence and scratched his back. We started sunday putting polysporin on his back. On tuesday he broke out with a rash around the scratched area. It almost looks like little pimples and itches very bad periodically. I was wondering if he could be allergic to antibiotic (i did apply same antibiotic to knee and no problems around that area) or if this is due to the scratch. It is now Thursday and wondering if I should still go get Tetanus shot or what to do. Thanks
