Hi im dr.hema physiotherapist.
I understand your concern.
A normal balanced diet with a
calcium supplement up to 1000mg a day is healthy for your conditionmor anyone.
So nothing to worry about the diet.
Calcification is not caused by excess calcium in the diet. The calcium level in the blood is usually normal. Restricting calcium will not help, and infact, the body will leach calcium from the bones if calcium intake in inadequate.
So continue with diary products in your day to day life.
Without treatment, it usually goes away on its own, however it can take a long time upto 4 to 5 years when pain is more go for medications, ,
physiotherapy modalities like
ultrasound.
Start to Maintain your range of motion (of your shoulder) by simple stretches to the same joint once pain is controlled.
Inflammation that caused by calcification can be reduced with ice and hot water fermentation alternatively 3 to 4 times per day with diclofinac gel application.
Hope this clears your doubt , for queries get back to us.
