Will Change Of Diet Help In Reducing The Numbness In Feet?
I have numbness in my feet, and im wondering if a diet change will reduce or stop this irritation im experiencing neuropathy, is what im pulling up on the internet what about getting rid of sugar and replace it with another type of sweater what would you suggest!
Hi, Numbness in feet can occurs by various causes like infection , trauma, inflammation, tumour other than diabetic neuropathy and peripheral neuropathy due to vitamin B1,B6, B12 deficiency. So only diet change do not treat the cause permanently. you have to consult a neuro physician for more information and guidance. Some investigations must be done like blood glucose estimation, nerve conduction test, total blood count, serum vitamin B12 level measurement. Try to keep blood sugar under control, avoid taking alcohol and smoking, and too much oily and fast food as these may increase your weight. Take green leafy vegetables, antioxidants as supplement, plenty of wholemeal, and also vitamin and mineral supplements. Thank you for consulting HCM.
