Will Changing The Cotton Wool After Myringoplasty Affect The Ear Drum?

Hi It s been 3 weeks since I had my myringoplasty and I was changing my cotton wool and some of the packing came out with it but I place it back in with a cotton stick. Will this affect my ear drum in anyway or not? I have an appointment in 5 days to remove the packing

I really appreciate your concern, if it is the changing of dressing of ear cannel then care need to be taken the ear plug should never be push too inside else it may contact the ear drum but the plug should be placed just little inside and not more, better to let the doctor do this, hope this information helps.
