I cut my scrotum with scissors. The cut removed a reasonably thick piece of skin about the size of a quarter of a finger nail. I have used Detol antiseptic lotion and antiseptic powder on the area, as well as dressing it with sterile non-stick dressing and wrapped it with an elastic bandage. The bleeding has subsided but when I remove the dressing it is still slightly bloody and no scab has formed yet. I have been changing the dressing twice per day. Should I see a doctor or will it heal if I continue my current treatment? It's been about three days since the accident.
