Will Cyst Be Removed After Having Yamini Tab Which Is Causing Irregular Period?
MY DAUGHTER IS 13 YrS OLD AND HER PERIOD IS IRREGULAR NOT COMING SINCE 2 MONTHS. FEELING PAIN ALSO IN VAGINA. SO AFTER CONSULTATION AND REVIEW THROUGH USG CYST FOUND IN RIGHT OVARY AND SUGGESTED YAMINI TAB. FROM 5TH DAY. NOW AFTER THAT WILL CYST REMOVE AUTOMATICALLY OR NOT AFETR TAKING THIS.
I understand your concern as a mother. Most cysts in this age are simple cysts. It would be an immense help if I could know the size of the cyst as well as other features like simple or complex and so on to provide a better opinion.
Most of the simple cysts that are small less than 5 cm, disappear by themselves or after use of hormones for 3-6 months. Some may persist and may need removal. A laparoscopic approach can be undertaken in most cases.
So as of now, just take the tablets and wait until the full therapy is over. Only then can future treatment be determined. Do not worry as most cysts disappear by themselves. Hope this was helpful. Thanks for asking us. Feel free for further queries. Dr Madhuri Bagde Consultant Ob gyn
