I am 37 weeks and 2 days pregnant and my ALT level is 86, while my ALP level is 239. I know the levels are above normal, almost double the range. But how bad are these elevations and how will these affect me or the baby? The bile acid levels I haven't gotten back yet. Thank you.
normally also there is raised ALP level occur in pregnancy...if u have itching whole over body, it may be asso. with jaundice in pregnancy...
but ALP level uP TO 400 CAN BE TAKEN NORMALLY IN ABSENCE OF ANY SYMPTOMS... SO DNT WRY...GET YOUR BLOOD GROUPING ,( TO RULE OUT RH NEGATIVE PREGNANCY) DO TESTS FOR HEPATITIS B, c andE IF NOT DONE...AND DO USG AND REGULAR CHECK UP WEEKLY.
